Mixed Media Artist Julie Prichard and Golden Working Artist Chris Cozen are happy to introduce to you their brand new online teaching collaboration, “Chaos and Calm: Over the Edge Painting Techniques”.
In the Chaos and Calm online workshop, beginning students will learn how to make beautiful paintings start to finish and more experienced students will learn how to take their work to the next level. The Chaos and Calm online workshop teaches composition, form, fine glazing and really interesting ways to help you incorporate abstract shapes into your artwork and evolved out of artist Julie Prichard’s need to learn to “fine tune” her own work,. This course material has not been taught in any other of our online workshops.
Chris and Julie will walk you through 15 high definition video lessons as well as provide you with a beautiful PDF that supports the entire course. We will make FIVE paintings in this class and allow students to work on paintings they may have made on their own or in other classes as well! Students can complete the lessons at their own pace. THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT and Chris and I will be available to help you at any time. Once you have registered for this class, you can stay in the class and participate as long as you like. A high speed internet connection is required.
Chris Cozen is a member of the Working Artist Program for Golden Artist Colors, Inc. She lectures and teaches throughout her Southern California territory. She is the author of three highly popular books on Acrylic techniques: ALTERED SURFACES, TRANSFERS & ALTERED IMAGES, and MIXED MEDIA & COLOR. She and her husband live in Pasadena, CA. Chris has a background in Education which she brings into play with every workshop and class she teaches.
Julie Prichard lives with her husband and daughter in San Diego, CA. She is the author of several successful online teaching workshops including the wildly popular Layer Love online workshop and the Super Nova art journaling program. One of her main priorities is her online network and you will find her online several times every day.
